One thing to do each morning.
How much light you still need, and by when. No dashboards to study and no score to chase.
futurr light
Your Apple Watch already counts your minutes in daylight. futurr light shows how they shape the night that follows, and tells you one thing to do tomorrow morning.
For iPhone and Apple Watch. Coming winter 2026.

Daylight, and the night after
Example data. Bars show minutes in daylight; times show when sleep began that night.
Your eyes adjust, so a bright office feels like daylight. Your body clock is not fooled. A cloudy morning outside is about twenty times brighter than your desk, and daylight is the main cue that sets when you get sleepy.
Illuminance in lux, approximate, on a logarithmic scale.
How much light you still need, and by when. No dashboards to study and no score to chase.
Each day is paired with the sleep that follows it, so you can see your own pattern after a week or two.
It uses the time in daylight your Apple Watch already records. No new device, no charging, no setup beyond one permission.
Apple Watch logs minutes in daylight in the background and your sleep at night.
It compares yesterday with your own baseline and the night that followed.
A short walk before 10:00 counts. Check the pattern again at the end of the week.
futurr light reads your daylight and sleep from Health and works them out on the device. No account, no server, no ads. It only reads from Health and never writes to it.
We are opening a small beta this November for people who wear an Apple Watch every day. Write to us and we will send a TestFlight invite.
